Fr. Myron McCormick, OFM, is the senior friar in the Franciscan community here at the Shrine. Unfortunately, Fr. Myron suffered a fall Saturday and broke his hip. Surgery was scheduled for Sunday afternoon, but had to be postponed since they found that he also has an infection. After the infection is cleared, they are planning to operate on his hip.
