“I was naked and you clothed me, I was sick and you visited me, I was in prison and you came to me…”
St. Anthony Shrine on Arch Street, St. Francis House, and Dignity U Wear have joined forces to provide new clothing to people in need. The clothing is coming from Dignity U Wear, a Florida based nonprofit which delivers new clothes to nonprofits throughout the United States. The Shrine is helping by storing of the clothes while St. Francis House does the actual distribution to the poor. The unique aspect of this program is that it deals only with new clothing.
This is all part of our acknowledgement of the dignity of every human person, made in the image of God.
