The Shrine day-trip ministry, Tony’s Travelers, had great day on Sunday, December 7th. Their full day of travel began with a 2 hour shopping excursion at the Prime Outlets in Wrentham, Massachusetts followed by a delicious brunch at the Tavern from Tower Square in Plainville, Massachusetts. Then the group arrived at the Shrine of Our Lady of LaSalette in time for Fr. Pat’s 3pm concert. Other activities at the Shrine that day included a chance to see the over 1200 nativity sets from around the world as well as a concert by the choir from St. Mary of the Assumption in Danvers, Massachusetts. It was a “reunion” of sorts since the children’s choir had recently come to St. Anthony Shrine to sing for the Seniors at Arch Street and have lunch with them! Then, of course, everyone enjoyed seeing all of the 400,000+ lights come on. The day ended with a stop at Bliss Dairy for a sundae-to-go!
