Our mechanical overhaul project is going extremely well. It is on time and under budget. The Shrine has received about $500,000 in contributed labor and services so far on this project. We so thank the many people who have contributed time and money to this project. There is a wonderful spirit of teamwork building among the volunteers. However, the volunteers who are upgrading the 60 year-old mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems are looking for even more tradespeople, contractors, engineers and laborers to assist with a significant final phase of the project. Also, we are still several hundred thousand dollars short of what we need to completely pay for this project. The projected finish date for the work is June 30, 2015.
