Cheers, it’s Friday and this week’s #FriarFriday is Fr. Philip O’Shea, OFM. Fr. Philip started the ministry “Good Word for Today“, after many years as an active member of the Ministry of the Word for Holy Name Province. He can be frequently found in the confessional booth where he is often personally requested. Many penitents commonly refer to him as “The Gentle Confessor”. Fr. Philip presides at many of the Lazarus Masses. Fr. Phil is quick with a joke and always seems to have a smile from ear to ear. We thank you Fr. Philip for all the you have done and continue to do for the Shrine’s faith community.
