Local College Students Spend Part of Their Spring Break Helping at St. Anthony Shrine

On Thursday, March 12, eighteen students from Emmanuel College’s “Alternative Spring Break” program helped out in the Franciscan Food Center and with the Kids Program here at St. Anthony Shrine. These altruistic young adults chose to spend their spring break week in Boston doing various volunteer activities around town. The Shrine is a happy beneficiary of their wonderful dedication to community service. We thank Emmanuel College for our ongoing partnership and welcome the students back to volunteer at the Shrine again soon!
