On Saturday, a group of men discerning a vocation in the Franciscan tradition, got some hands-on experience in ministry at the Shrine by helping the Director of the Kids Program assemble items for the Spring Surprise distribution, which will take place in April. What these eight guys, 6 men in discernment about becoming a friar and 2 men in habits who are in initial formation, happily did in 20 minutes would’ve taken one person a couple of hours to complete.
