On Saturday, August, 15th we celebrate the Feast of the Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary. The only Mass celebrating the Feast of the Assumption will be held at 12:00 noon.
The Assumption commemorates the end of Mary’s life on earth and her bodily assumption into Heaven. Because it signifies the Blessed Virgin’s passing into eternal life, it is the most important of all Marian feasts and is a holy day of obligation.
