On November 5th, 2015, the Global Catholic Climate Movement—St. Anthony Shrine’s newest partner–gave a presentation on Laudato Si and the work they are doing to put Pope Francis’ ideals into action. After pointing out some of the highlights of the encyclical, they waked us through what we can do to support the Pope’s action, including praying for the COP21 Paris Climate Summit of the U.N., which will meet in December, and most importantly ,to join the 357,000 Catholics worldwide who have already signed the Catholic Climate Petition. We couldn’t be more excited to have this energetic, inspiring group of Catholics here at the Shrine.
