The Seniors Craft Group was started about 10 years by Sr. Margaret Henry, M.F.I.C. Some of the members from the initial group are still with us.
The group meets every Tuesday after the 10 AM Mass in the auditorium classroom. Together, the members enjoy coffee, tea, cake and share one another’s conversation and company.
The members are extremely talented in knitting and crocheting their beautiful products. They make afghans, sweaters, scarfs, hairbands, baby blankets, and caps.
Three times a year the members sell their items. The sales are usually held at the Shrine Fair, at Thanksgiving , and a few weeks before Christmas.
New members are always welcome to join and share their skills and talent with the group.
