Come and See Weekend with the Franciscans

vidcollageAn invitation to learn about our way of life

If you are a man between 21 and 40 years of age interested in Franciscan life, we invite you to visit our friar community here at St. Anthony Shrine for a weekend of hospitality, fraternity and discernment.

Join us March 21, 22 and 23 to share meals and conversation, pray and celebrate the Eucharist, and reflect on the Gospel life of joy, compassion and service inspired by St. Francis of Assisi.

With an informal schedule from late Friday afternoon through early Sunday afternoon, you’ll get to know the Friars and have a chance to speak with our vocation director about Franciscan life and your calling.

The weekend includes a tour of the Shrine and an opportunity to serve clients of the Franciscan Food Center. Come and see if Franciscan life is for you!

(Arrangements for the weekend are flexible. We understand if you are not able to participate in every activity. Feel free to join us when you can. If you would like to meet the Friars but cannot attend this event, we are happy to make arrangements that work with your schedule.)
