As the season of Thanksgiving draws near, we’re reminded that gratitude isn’t just a feeling—it’s an action. And at St. Anthony Shrine, your compassion is feeding more than just bodies. You’re nourishing hope.

Through your generosity, the Franciscan Food Center continues to provide vital support to our neighbors in need. Every month, hundreds of individuals and families come through our doors for our public food distribution program, where they receive nutritious groceries in a warm, welcoming environment.

Each week, through our Homelessness to Housing Program, we also invite those who have recently transitioned out of homelessness to receive essential food and household items that SNAP benefits don’t cover—things like spices, paper goods, laundry detergent, and cleaning supplies. It’s one more way we walk with people on their journey toward stability.

But Thanksgiving is different.

In a special act of love, we provide 1,000 turkeys and all the fixings to make sure families who are struggling can still sit down to a traditional holiday meal. This effort is only possible because of donors like you.
