As the largest growing population in our American Church, the mission of the Latino Ministry at St. Anthony Shrine is to make known the Gospel of Christ in the Hispanic community, in the city of Boston, and to bring all the Shrine’s Latino brothers and sisters into a full and participatory understanding of our Church’s life and mission. St. Anthony Friars welcome diversity, and believe that doing so strengthens the unity of the One Body of Christ.
The Latino Ministry meets every Wednesday at 4 p.m. in the classroom off the auditorium. Members take turns reading the Sacred Scripture for the following Sunday, sharing what the readings mean, and praying the rosary. Mass is celebrated at 5:15 p.m. in Spanish with the larger Hispanic community.
